Parish Ministries
- Media
The media ministry involves the coverage and presentation of our
parish life via various media forms, such as the parish website,
the Sunday bulletin and periodical publications.
For all media functions, but
especially for the website, Sunday bulletin, reporters and
publications team, we highly welcome anyone who is well-versed
in spoken and written Tamil, Mandarin or other languages, as it
will provide us with a more diverse coverage.

Sunday Bulletin |

The parish website is our online presence, and we
aim to disseminate information to all, as well as
provide certain conveniences such as downloads and
information which would otherwise involve a trip or
a call to the Parish Office.
Suitability – Web designers, whether
with basic or advanced skills, are welcome. Must be
able to work with others, and take criticism. |

A
single sheet bulletin with announcements, schedules,
brief anecdotes and other parish pertinent
information.
Currently edited and published by the Parish Office,
due to lack of able hands.
Suitability – Basic publication skills
will suffice. Must have a knack for order and
uniformity, as well as good grammar and ability to
be concise. Will work closely with Parish Office to
obtain data for bulletin. |

Photographers |

Reporters |
|
To
cover memorable events and activities, for
dissemination on various media.
Suitability – Must have at least
intermediate photography skills, possess own camera
and able to work with others. Able to excel under
minimum supervision. |

Provides detailed written coverage of memorable
events and activities. Speaks to people involved to
find out perspectives and opinions, as well as
'juicy' details as yet unknown to the public (READ:
NOT gossip!)
Suitability – Journalistic writing
skills are essential. Able to
work with others.
Able to excel under minimum supervision.
Willing to speak and question others for
information. |

Videographers |
|
Publications Team |
|
To provide video coverage of memorable events and
activities, for dissemination on various media. Also
to provide editing and compilation of videos.
Suitability – Must have basic video
know-how, possess own video camera, and able to work
with others. Able to excel under minimum
supervision.

Responsible for coming up with publications such as
periodicals, booklets, etc.
Suitability –
Knowledge of
publishing and graphics applications is essential.
Experience in actual publishing is a plus.
